Exercise Technique Tips

• Keep the upper arms close to the body to minimize shoulder stress and maximize tricep involvement.
• Descend until barbell is an ich or two from your forehead.
• Use a straight or E-Z bar to minimize wrist stress.
• Make sure to set-up properly while lying face up and feet firmly planted on ground.
• Squeeze the bar hard and attempt to press bar toward ceiling in a straight line over your forehead.

Common Mistakes

• Flaring elbows to side.
• Not ripping the bar apart.
• Using too close or wide of a grip.
• Using too heavy a weight.
• Not using a straight line bar path.
