Fast Muscle Building Nutrition

3 Fantastic Foods



Below are foods that I consider to be indispensable for fast muscle building nutrition. These foods should have a part in your diet no matter if youíre doing low-carb, high-carb, or whatever. While these are indeed foods, they have almost medicinal properties when consumed on a regular basis.

These are three of my favorites:

1. Organic blueberries

Blueberries are thought to play a role in preventing cancer and cardiovascular disease. This is likely due to the fact that they contain more antioxidants than any other fruit or vegetable. I recommend the organic variety to avoid having pesticides negate the healthy benefits.

I shoot for 1 cup per day, usually in my oatmeal or in a shake.

2. Organic spinach

Another anti-oxidant superstar, spinach has been shown to lower the risk of almost every type of cancer. Itís also a very alkaline food, which helps to balance our generally acidic diet. Again, I recommend the organic variety to avoid those nasty pesticides.

I try to eat about a pound of raw spinach per week. I typically use it in omelets and salads, and yes, even shakes.

3. Cage-free Eggs

Full of high-quality protein, omega-3 fats, lecithin, and cholesterol (the building block of testosterone), cage-free eggs are a fantastic food. One study even found that people who trained with weights and ate eggs regularly got stronger than those who trained with weight but didnít eat eggs.

I personally eat at least 1 dozen eggs per week, if not more, since they are such a great source for fast muscle building nutrition. For most people the cholesterol is nothing to worry about, but you should check with your doctor.
